ISSUES RELATED TO PUBLIC HEALTH CONCERNS

1. POLLUTION:As we all know, many parts of our country are polluted through different means.It could be through human wastes e.g faeces,farm chemicals,oil leakage in seas,soot from vehicles and many others.Pollution has many effects to man like an outbreak of diseases,low yields,death of aquatic life and many more.The most common form of pollution is poor disposal of garbage hence the creation of dumpsites especially in Nairobi.

The above photos shows some of the dumpsites in Nairobi umoja and embakasi estates.Also some Rivers are polluted through poor disposal of wastes and are now useless to man for example Nairobi River.

Also air pollution is experienced through soot and chemicals from factoried and vehicles.

2. POORLY CONSTRUCTED BUILDINGS: Recently there have been many cases of poorly constructed buildings that end up collapsing which leads to the demise of many people and leaving others maimed.

3. COVID 19:  This disease emerged in Wuhan china on december 2019.It's very dangerous since it has no cures and the vaccines created are not effective since there was a case of covid 19 variant.The person was vaccined and yet contracted the disease.In Kenya ,people have taken the issue lightly and don't even wear masks or observe social distancing.Even our leaders are campaigning and attracting large crowd .Some even say that its a disease of 2020 therefore in 2021 we should resume our normal lifestyle.

These are the Key issues that need to be looked at.
